Every summer, CEF of Muskegon reaches hundreds of children through small group Bible clubs held in neighborhood settings. Christian families host the teams of young people, who come each day for five days to hold an hour-long program.
The Bible club program is like VBS on the road, a wonderful time of games, songs, and Bible teaching. Boys and girls learn to love Jesus, trust in Him for salvation, and are challenged to live for Him. We rely on Christian teens to serve as summer staff to staff the clubs. Teens that are 14 years of age and older can raise funds to be paid hourly for their time spent reaching children for Christ! The young people are invited to attend the training sessions either here in Muskegon or in Grand Rapids. Christian Youth in Action, the full two-week training, is conducted under the leadership of the CEF of Michigan staff.
